Maria Venus Raj represented the Philippines in the 2010 Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada and placed 4th runner up. After 11 years of drought, Philippines placed again on the Top 15. She was favor to win the crown but because of her answer she only placed as 4th runner up.
